Women’s Awareness Camp Held in Village

Anand, Friday: A Women’s Awareness Camp was organized at Gayatri Mandir in the village under the Mahila Swavalamban Yojana by Gujarat Mahila Arthik Vikas Nigam Limited and the Office of the Women and Child Officer, Anand.
During the camp, Women and Child Officer Nileshwari Ba Gohil guided women on becoming self-reliant, independent, and financially empowered. CDPO Bhavnaben Patel emphasized the importance of nutritious food to maintain hemoglobin levels and prevent anemia. Falguni Ben provided information about various women-centric schemes, while Sabnam Ben Khalifa explained the Police Station-Based Support Center. Femida Ben Malek discussed the Sakhi One-Stop Center, and Bakul Bhai Shah highlighted the 181 Women Abhayam Helpline. Dharti Ben demonstrated different recipes from Purnashakti and their significance, and Geeta Ben Chauhan spoke about women’s health and improvements in healthcare.
The camp was attended by Anganwadi workers, members of Sakhi Mandals, and local women.
