Weapon Ban and Public Order Restrictions Imposed in Anand District Until March 8

Anand, Saturday: To maintain law and order in Anand district, Additional District Magistrate Ruturaj Desai has issued an official prohibition order, enforcing a weapon ban and restrictions on actions disrupting public decorum across the district.
Key Restrictions:
As per the order, it is strictly prohibited to carry or possess:
- Weapons such as swords, spears, sticks, rods, batons, flaming torches, or any other objects capable of causing physical harm.
- Gatherings of more than four people without prior permission from the competent authority.
- Organizing or participating in meetings, assemblies, or processions of more than four people without authorization.
Applicability & Exceptions:
- The order applies to all public areas in the district, including roads, sidewalks, streets, alleys, and public buildings.
- Government employees on duty and physically disabled individuals are exempt.
- Violators of this order will face legal consequences as per the applicable laws.
Duration:
The restrictions will remain in effect until March 8, 2025, across Anand district.
