Slab Installation Work to Be Undertaken by Umreth Municipality from Od Chokdi to Damodar Vad

Anand, Thursday: The Irrigation Department of Anand is responsible for the maintenance and repair of a 550 km notified canal network under the Kans Subdivision, which passes through the talukas of Umreth, Anand, Petlad, Borsad, and Anklav.

As part of this effort, the Bhatt Tank to Thamna Escape Canal in Umreth, from Od Chokdi to Parvata, has been notified under the Anand Irrigation Department. The state government has granted an NOC (No Objection Certificate) to Umreth Municipality for installing a pipeline along the canal section from Od Chokdi to Damodar Vad.

Based on this approval, Umreth Municipality will carry out the slab/pipeline installation work, as stated by the Executive Engineer of the Irrigation Department.
