“Kisan Samman Ceremony” to be Held at Anand Agricultural University on February 24

Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Virtually Address Farmers from Bhagalpur, Bihar, and Release the 19th Installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi
Anand, Friday: The “Kisan Samman Ceremony” will be organized on February 24 at the Auditorium Hall of B.A. College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually address farmers from Bhagalpur, Bihar and release the 19th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
The event will take place on Monday, February 24, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, during which farmers can watch the live broadcast of the Prime Minister’s address.
Key Attractions of the Event:
The ceremony will feature various stalls and exhibitions, including:
- Live stalls on cow-based natural farming
- FPO (Farmer Producer Organization) exhibition stalls
- Awareness stalls on increasing fertilizer usage
- Stalls by the Agriculture, Horticulture, and Animal Husbandry departments
- PM Kisan land seeding and e-KYC stalls
- Farmer registry and Krishi University stalls
- Kisan credit and drip irrigation method stalls
Additionally, the event will include district-level agricultural exhibitions, guidance sessions, beneficiary distributions, and recognition of progressive farmers by dignitaries.
Significance of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana:
Under this scheme, over 11 crore farmer families across India have received a total of ₹3.46 lakh crore through 18 installments.
