Grade 12 Student Hetalben Chauhan Appears for Exam Despite Leg Fracture at Ode High School

District Education Office Arranges Special Seating for Student with Leg Support

Anand, Thursday: In the ongoing Grade 12 general stream board exams in Anand district, Hetalben Chauhan, a student from Shili village, displayed determination and resilience by appearing for her exam despite having a fractured leg.

Hetalben, a student of Siddhnath Vidyalaya in Shili village, suffered a fracture in her right leg due to an accident a few days before the exams, requiring her leg to be placed in a cast. However, she courageously went to her exam center at Ode High School and took her first paper with confidence.

Upon reaching the exam center, Hetalben stated, “My leg is in a cast, but my hands are fine, so I can write my exam without any difficulty.” With this determination, she proceeded to sit for her first paper of the Grade 12 general stream exam at Ode High School.

After completing her exam, she expressed her gratitude, saying, “I did not want to waste my academic year due to my injury. Sitting was uncomfortable, but thanks to the education department, I was provided with a special seating arrangement where I could rest my leg on a chair. Because of this, I faced no difficulties during the exam, and I am very happy.”
