Writes Exam at Moger High School

Anand, Thursday: The Grade 10 board exams conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar, have commenced in Anand district.

Among the students appearing for the exam is Shaktisinh Arvindbhai Parmar, a Grade 10 student from Maitri Uttar Buniyadi Vidyalaya, Ramnagar, Anand Taluka. Unfortunately, on the first day of the exams, he sustained a minor injury to his right hand, requiring a bandage.

However, since Shaktisinh is left-handed, the injury did not affect his ability to write the exam. Had he injured his left hand, he would have needed special permission from the education department to have another student write the exam on his behalf.

Despite the pain and bandage on his right hand, Shaktisinh did not lose hope. He took medication prescribed by the doctor, reached the exam center on time, and appeared for his board exam.

Shaktisinh wrote his first board exam at Moger High School today and shared, “Even though my right hand is injured, I didn’t let it affect me while writing the exam. I did not feel any stress and received full support from my school teachers. If I had needed assistance, the education department would have provided it immediately, but since I write with my left hand, I was able to complete the exam without any worries.”

He expressed happiness and relief at being able to complete his board exam despite the injury.
