Extension of Registration Deadline for Wheat Procurement at Minimum Support Price (MSP) by State Government

Anand, Saturday: To ensure farmers receive fair prices for their produce, the State Government has extended the registration deadline for wheat procurement under the Rabi Marketing Season 2025-26. The wheat will be purchased at a Minimum Support Price (MSP) of ₹2,425 per quintal through the Gujarat State Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd.

Registration Process & Extended Deadline

Farmers wishing to sell wheat at MSP were required to register online through VCE at the village level from 01/01/2025. The registration deadline has now been extended until April 5, 2025.

Required Documents for Registration

Farmers need to submit the following documents:

✅ Copy of Aadhaar card

✅ Latest Village Sample (7/12 & 8A extracts)

✅ If crop sowing entry is not updated, a certificate signed and stamped by the Talati officer

✅ Bank account details in the farmer’s name (copy of passbook or canceled cheque)

Mandatory Online Registration for MSP Sales

Since online registration is compulsory, farmers are urged to contact their Gram Panchayat to complete the process.

Procurement Process

📩 Registered farmers will receive purchase notifications via SMS.

🆔 During procurement, farmers must carry their Aadhaar card as identification.

🖥️ The biometric authentication of the farmer account holder is required for the purchase process.
