District-Level Battery Test Organized Under Anand Sports School Scheme

Anand, Thursday: The Sports Authority of Gujarat, Gandhinagar has implemented the District-Level Sports School Scheme to promote sports and cultivate interest among students. As part of this initiative, the Anand district-level battery test for the year 2025-26 will be conducted at Sardar Patel Sports Complex, Bakkol-Vadtal Road, Rampura.

Currently, under the ongoing Khel Mahakumbh 30, winners in the Under-9 and Under-11 age groups are eligible to participate in this district-level battery test.

Eligibility & Test Schedule:

Girls who secured ranks 1st to 8th in the 30-meter race, 50-meter race, and standing broad jump competitions held across 8 talukas of Anand district can participate on March 11, 2025.
Boys who secured ranks 1st to 8th in the same events can participate on March 12, 2025.

Selection & Benefits:

Players selected at the district-level battery test will qualify for the state-level test.
Based on merit at the state level, they will be admitted to District Sports Schools.
Selected athletes will receive scientific training from expert coaches in morning and evening sessions.
They will be admitted to residential sports schools and provided with free education, study materials, books, accommodation, meals, school uniforms, tournament exposure, modern sports equipment, and a complete sports kit.
