Certain Areas in Anand Declared “No Parking Zones” Until April 25

Anand, Saturday: To ensure smooth and efficient traffic flow in Anand and Vidyanagar, Additional District Magistrate R.S. Desai has issued an order declaring certain locations in Anand as “No Parking Zones” until April 25, 2025.

According to this order, parking restrictions have been imposed in the following areas:

  • Outside the old Dadar Railway Station and Gujarati Chowk
  • On the road outside the Railway Goods Shed Gate
  • Outside both gates of the new bus stand
  • Within a 50-meter radius of the entrance to the municipal government hospital
  • In front of the Amul Dairy Parlor
  • Within a 50-meter radius outside the vegetable market gate (four-wheeler parking prohibited)

Alternative Parking Arrangements:

Instead of parking in the restricted areas, vehicles can be parked at:

  • Gurudwara Circle to D-Mart and Tulsi Garnala for four-wheelers
  • Designated spaces on the road towards the large vegetable market for two-wheelers
  • Designated spaces near the railway station exit gate for rickshaws
  • Opposite the open gate of the new bus station for designated vehicles
  • At the corner of the Bethak Mandir Road
  • Alongside the Sardarbagh wall near the new bus stand gate for designated rickshaws
  • On the road from the Railway Goods Shed to Gamdi Vad and from Shastri Maidan to N.S. Patel Circle for alternate-side parking

Exceptions & Penalties:

  • Government vehicles, ambulances, and fire brigade vehicles are exempt from this restriction.
  • Any individual violating this order will be subject to legal action as per applicable laws.
