A Unique Opportunity for Anand Residents to Experience the Folk Dances and Cultures of Gujarat and Various Indian States

Anand, Friday: The 30th Adivasi Mahotsav – 2025 was organized at Charusat University, Changa, in collaboration with the Department of Sports, Youth, and Cultural Activities, the Office of the Commissioner of Youth Services and Cultural Activities (Gandhinagar), and the Anand District Administration.

District Youth Development Officer Mr. Akshay Makwana, while welcoming the dignitaries and addressing the gathering, highlighted that this festival provided Anand’s citizens with a vivid experience of folk dances and cultures from Gujarat and across India. He further emphasized that this two-day festival is a commendable effort by the government to showcase tribal folk traditions to the younger generation.

The event saw the presence of Charusat University Registrar Mr. Atulbhai Patel, Students’ Council Chairperson Mr. Bhaskarbhai Pandya, faculty members, and a large number of students.

At the Adivasi Mahotsav, tribal artists brought to life the diverse folk traditions of Gujarat and other Indian states through mesmerizing dance performances.
