Anand Municipal Corporation Collects ₹13.80 Lakh in Property Tax on Public Holidays (March 22-23)

Anand, Monday: The Anand Municipal Corporation (AMC) continued operating its Tax Department office even on public holidays to facilitate property tax payments. As a result, citizens of Anand deposited ₹13.80 lakh in property tax on March 22 (Saturday) and March 23 (Sunday), despite it being a public holiday.

The initiative allowed residents to clear their outstanding property tax dues conveniently on non-working days.

Upcoming Tax Payment Facilities on Public Holidays

AMC has further announced that its Tax Department office will remain open on March 30 (Sunday) and March 31 (Monday, Ramzan Eid holiday), from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to settle their pending property tax dues before the deadline of March 31.
