Anand Municipal Corporation Imposes ₹50,000 Fines on “Smart Bazaar” and M/s P.C. Snehal Construction Pvt. Ltd.

Anand, Wednesday: The Municipal Commissioner of Anand, Mr. Milind Bapna, has instructed the municipal team to take action against illegal parking, construction materials obstructing public roads, and other encroachments causing inconvenience to the public.

Following this directive, the Estate Department’s encroachment team conducted a surprise inspection and found violations at multiple locations. Specifically, “Smart Bazaar” on Anand-Vidyanagar Road and the construction site of M/s P.C. Snehal Construction Pvt. Ltd. on Karamasad Road (opposite Sardar Patel Memorial) were found to have construction materials such as sand and gravel obstructing public roads, creating hazards and public nuisances.

As per The Gujarat Provincial Municipal Corporation Act, 1949, both establishments have been issued notices by the Town Planning/Estate Department of Anand Municipal Corporation, imposing an administrative charge of ₹50,000 each.

If the fines are not paid within three days, the municipality will proceed with sealing the premises, as per the official statement.
