Women to Achieve Financial Independence through Commercial Driving under the Women’s Self-Reliance Scheme

Free Training and Loan Assistance of up to ₹2 Lakh for Women

Anand, Friday: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, an innovative initiative has been launched in Anand district under the guidance of District Collector Pravin Chaudhary.

As part of this initiative, the Women and Child Welfare Department is implementing the Women’s Self-Reliance Scheme to help women become financially independent through commercial driving.

Under this scheme, women will receive free training and loan assistance of up to ₹2 lakh. Additionally, priority will be given to women who already hold a driving license for loan assistance, as stated by the District Women and Child Welfare Officer.
