Class 10 Board Exams Begin Peacefully in Anand District

566 Students Absent from Class 10 Board Exams in Anand District
Anand, Thursday: The Class 10 and 12 Board Examinations conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar, have commenced. On this occasion, Anand District Collector Praveen Chaudhary visited Sardar Patel High School, Khetiwadi, where he welcomed the students with a rose and offered them sweets as a gesture of encouragement and extended his best wishes.
The Collector personally encouraged Vijay Chavda, a specially-abled student with over 70% disability, by placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder and advising him to write his exam calmly and without stress. He also wished him a bright future, bringing a smile to the student’s face.
The Collector advised all students to take the exam without fear or anxiety.
District Education Officer Kamini Trivedi stated that the administration has completed all necessary preparations for the smooth conduct of the Class 10 and 12 board exams in Anand district. She highlighted that special seating arrangements have been made for differently-abled students, CCTV cameras installed in all rooms, sanitation facilities ensured, and adequate ventilation and lighting provided. She also urged students to stay calm and take their exams with confidence.
Additionally, she informed students and parents that if they had any exam-related concerns, they could contact the Board’s toll-free helpline or the District Education Officer’s office helpline.
Notably, 31,290 students are appearing for the Class 10 exams, 12,609 for Class 12 General Stream, and 4,159 for Class 12 Science Stream in Anand district.
On the first day of the Class 10 exams, a total of 566 students were absent in the district, as reported by the District Education Officer.
